Congratulations to Rafal Bogowolski of Nevada for winning the Etnies Planet is Your Playground photo contest!

While Etnies received plenty of worthy photos from exotic places around the world, including Fiji, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Kazakhstan, Bogowolski’s winning shot was from right here in the good ol’ U.S. and A. in Lake Tahoe, which sits on the border of California and Nevada.

“Lake Tahoe is one of the few places in the world where you can do almost every activity there is–rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, wakeboarding–and in the same day go skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, or even pondskimming among Brazilian bikinis,” Bogowolski wrote about the shot.

For the win Bogowolski will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Hawaii.

In early June Etnies asked users to upload photos of their favorite destinations around the world and tell them why the location was an ideal playground.
