The South Korean version of the popular British television show “Top Gear” has just released harrowing footage of a helicopter crash that fortunately left no one seriously injured, according the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper.
In the video “Top Gear Korea” presenter Kim Jin Pyo races an AH1 Cobra helicopter while driving a Corvette ZR1, according to Top Gear Korea’s YouTube channel, and at the 1-minute mark the helicopter does a loop in the air and then seemingly loses control and hurtles into the dirt, kicking up a cloud of dust in the process. Kim Jin Pyo appears distraught after the crash, and the video ends with him getting out of the Corvette and running toward the carnage.
“Top Gear” is a popular British television show about cars that has been on the air since the 1970s. Versions of the show also appear in the U.S., Australia, Russia, and South Korea, which premiered in 2011.
