You know the sport of skateboarding is in good hands when 15-year-old Mitchie Brusco and 12-year-old Tom Schaar are landing 900′s on the MegaRamp. Never before at X Games have we seen this number of talented kids under the age of 15 having an impact on the event, including the youngest competitor in X Games history, 11-year-old Jagger Eaton.

Schaar put on an impressive showing at X Games, dropping 900′s with ease. But knowing he has a 1080 in his bag of tricks, it was disappointing that he didn’t attempt one. The Mega Ramp at X Games is larger than what he’s used to practicing on and he was unable to get enough momentum to pull the trick. But at 12 years old, we’ll being seeing plenty more from Schaar in the future.
