If you follow Skateboarder magazine photographer Jonathan Mehring you probably know that he sometimes gets a wild hair up his behind and plans crazy trips like motorcycling down the length of Vietnam. One of his more famous escapades included a train ride across Siberia, which he took in 2008 and which made its way into Skateboarder as an article titled “The Four Horseman of the Trans Siberian Railroad.” Since Mehring is now on his honeymoon and taking a safari in Africa, he doesn’t have time to post his weekly blog, which means his colleagues at Skateboarder have decided to reminisce about the Siberian trip and post eight galleries from it instead.
