Last Thursday the creative and unique minds of Native Shoes threw a summer party at Space 15Twenty in Hollywood. Combining forces with Farm Tactics and Poler, the ultra-hip brands created the “Field Study Pop-Up,” a fashion exhibit with an indoor rock climbing wall, a geodesic tent, and a pine cone-filled wall, which supports their motto, “Nature is not a place, it is a mindset.”
The highlight of the night was the LA screening of the 2010 feature length film Machotaildrop, directed by Corey Adams, creator of the brand’s Nativision films. The film is a highly visual and fantastical journey about an amateur skateboarder. Weird, wild, and off-the-wall, the film screening was a perfect match for the Hollywood skate scene.
