Our favorite purveyors of the strange, Insight Clothing, are pleased to announce the newest addition to their team of board-skaters: San Diegan Alex Schmidt. Born in Leucadia, Alex now resides in the “Williamsburg of the West”: Echo Park in Los Angeles.

He is known for a smooth street skate style, and aside from his prowess on a board, he’s also got quite the eye for photography. Look for more imagery of or by Alex on Insight’s site in the coming weeks. In the meantime here is their official welcome video.
