It’s been a banner week for the mini camera company out of Half Moon Bay. Last week they announced the signing of the greatest surfer on the planet and this week they released their newest piece of technology to the public.

GoPro’s new Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit is available for less than $100. Using a smartphone, up to 50 cameras can be controlled within a range of 600 feet. Live streaming software is also available, which offers the potential for unique points of view during live competition and webcasts.

To demonstrate the capabilities of their new product, GoPro teamed up with Ryan Sheckler to produce a short clip titled “New York City.”
