Curren Caples, 16, of Ventura, California, has been making headlines on his skateboard for some time now, finishing fourth in the skateboard park event in his first X Games, when he was only 14. But skateboarding isn’t Curren’s only talent, as he’s been boardriding since he could stand on his feet. (His father even named him after local legend and style god of surfing Tom Curren.) Today, Curren is emerging as one of the more impressive crossover athletes we’ve seen in a while.
