Freeskier Tatsuya Tayagaki recently released a video about his travels around Japan, searching for people to ski with and new places to ski. “2011 was a very difficult year in Japan. The earthquake and tsunami caused so much pain for the people here. It’s difficult to be positive after something like that. But skiing helps us forget about the bad things,” he says in the video.
