Type in “first snow” into Google news and you’ll get plenty of new stories from California to Canada about the season’s first snowstorms. And this means it’s time to start thinking about jackets–warm jackets good for being outside for long periods of time, not just the flimsy shells you throw on before you run from your car to the grocery store. Enter Powder magazine; they’ve just posted their picks for their favorite jackets for 2013. “Your jacket has to keep you warm and dry.
