Insta-Awesome Gallery: Burton Rail Days Tokyo

Eighteen of the world’s best jibbers descended upon Japan last week for the Burton Rail Days event held at the Roppongi Hills Plaza in the heart of the bustling city of Tokyo. Thousands turned out for an evening that took place on a massive, urban rail set-up consisting of three different drop-in points that led to numerous technical features. Big money and bragging right were on the line and all of the riders were throwing down their best tricks as they battled it out for the top spot.

Snowboarder Mag’s roving editor, Tom Monterosso, was on site, and said in his recap on Snowboarder Mag: “The finals was a nail biter, and although I’m not really one for the whole contest drama thing, it worked on me. Burton and Mini worked together to bring the people of Tokyp a thrilling and progressive event and I applaud them for that. The riding was incredible, the judging was on point, and the vibe was insane.”
