Say Anything with Sass Global Travel head coach Andrew Burns

While most of us were sweating from the summer heat in the states, lucky shredders attending travel company Sass Global Travel’s second session of snowboard camp were ripping powder in the middle of winter at Cerro Catedral, in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina.

Powder pummeled the mountain during the late August session, creating prefect conditions for campers and coaches. Sass Global Travel head coach Andrew Burns was the big man on campus during the company’s second camp, dubbed SGT Session 2, so we caught up with the pirate-loving pro to fill us in on all the details from his session down south in this edition of “Say Anything.” Burns’ answers are in bold.

SGT Session 2 was awesome because Pirate week (Burn’s signature session) is sick.

My birthday in Argentina is awesome because shredding POW on August 18th is ill.

The most fun thing that happened during Session 2 was the jump sessions, because they were dope.

My best laugh of Session 2 was Jeff Moran [the head coach of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Team] because he’s effin hilarious.

If you didn’t make it to Argentina this summer that’s too bad because whatever you were doing instead probably sucked a lot more.

Check out Andrew in action in these edits from SGT Session 2.
