Ever wonder what it’s like from the snowboard’s point of view to be cut down as a tree, and then to be shaped and built into Shaun White’s snowboard? Of course not, but GoPro’s latest bit of cleverness offers this very point of view in what’s called “Shaun White’s Birth of a Board.” Take a look at the YouTube vid:

Now, to recap, Shaun White’s snowboard went from being a tree, to a raw board, to getting shaped into a snowboard, to getting painted, to being packaged into a box, to getting pulled out of the box by Shaun White, to having decals and bindings be put on by Shaun White, to being put into a case by Shaun White, to getting removed from the case at a ski resort by Shaun White, to being used as a snowboard on the slopes by Shaun White. Brilliant.
