As the days begin to shorten, snow enthusiasts in the Northern Hemisphere start jonesing for winter. It’s too early for the first flakes of the season to fly, but many are still dreaming of snow. Well, the good folks over at Signal Snowboarders certainly are, as they recently dropped the first episode of the third season of “Every Third Thursday,” which is a monthly web series that mixes snowboard innovation with fun manufacturing.

The first webisode is highly ingenious and entertaining, as the Signal crew crafts a snowboard fly rod. It’s a seemingly weird juxtaposition, but the crew actually pulls it off. They even catch air and fish with their clever invention.
