The Clubbies: Episode 1

With the ever evolving world of webisodes, we bring you the first look at “The Clubbies.” Follow a crew of New Zealand natives as they talk about shredding in NZ and how resorts have come to identify and cater to this bunch of ‘boarders. There’s plenty of slashes and crashes that make this initial episode pretty dang entertaining.

See what the crew had to say.

The first episode of The Clubbies travels to a few of the club fields in the Canterbury high country of New Zealand. With one big snowfall to start the late season off we went out in search of fresh snow. Though it had been greatly affected by the nor-west wind there were still pockets of powder to be found and great fun to be had.

After the big dump at the start of July there hasn’t really been much new snow and the Clubbies have no groomers and no snowmaking so when the snowfall is less that average all you can really do is keep an eye out for that next weather system to roll on through.

During our days up in the mountains we had plenty of interesting times and met some different people who together make the Clubbies what they are, fingers crossed for some more snow and until then please enjoy the first episode of Riley Bathurst and Liam Hall’s “The Clubbies”
