It wasn’t more than a week ago when we were complaining about hot it was in the Mile High City and how we couldn’t wait for snow. The heavens must have heard our cries, because early this morning, snow angels sprinkled the goods all over Aspen/Snowmass. We were pleasantly surprised to see these photos of the first dusting of white fluff of the 2011-2012 season in Colorado.

Aspen/Snowmass’s photographer Jeremy Swanson set out and captured these shots of the Aspen Valley this morning.

Get your boots ready, winter is coming!



This first dusting means shredding season is right around the corner! In Colorado, we are less than a month away from opening day shenanigans,so get your gear dialed asap.
