As if we needed another reason to visit Paris, but here’s one, anyway: the Nautic SUP Crossing, which is one of Europe’s biggest standup paddling races. The event kicked off over the weekend and included 12 kilometers of paddling on the peaceful Seine and against the backdrop of some of the city’s most famous sights. It was held in conjunction with the international boat show Salon Nautique de Paris, and France-born paddlers Eric Terrien and Faustine Merret, who is a windsurfing Olympian, were the overall winners. C’etait magnifique!
