Desillusion Profiles Alex Knost

Desillusion Magazine has wrangled some of the most iconic and controversial characters in the action sports bubble, and put them in front of the lens to share some thoughts in a series of short films. The last focused on surfer/artist/rockstar/pirate Ozzie Wright, who has been cheered and jeered throughout his career for his eccentric style in and out of the water. This installment is based on another surfer who fits that bill, Newport Beach’s Alex Knost. Al is among the leaders in the ‘ride anything’ movement, and is also the frontman of the low-fi band The Japanese Motors.
