Gabriel Medina and Adriano DeSouza are the two brightest stars in Brazilian surfing right now. Adriano is coming off a 6-star win at J-Bay and Medina is fresh off a 2nd place to Slater in Fiji. Here we get to see the pair leave the ocean behind for a novelty wave in Munich’s Eisbach River. This wave has been on your screens before, most notably in the winning edit of last year’s Nike Chosen contest by Fus Crew. After some early fumbles, both surfers quickly learn the way of the standing wave.
