Goons Of Doom @ Australia's Big Day Out

The Goons of Doom played at Australia’s premier summer (it’s summer down there) music festival, The Big Day Out. It consists of five shows in each state capital, and it is apparently a big deal. Fuck, Neil Young is playing the damn thing.

“We played on the Lilly Pad stage, which is where all the people who have had way too many drugs go to chill out,” said Ozzie Wrong, who does not belong. “It was like hanging out in a bad dream that you didn’t want to wake up from.” Perfect.

After the show Goons member, Killer Whale, hosted an after party that Neil Young showed up to, and he even played a little music with Kurt Flindt. Like every other time a good time is being had, the cops showed up to rain on the parade…standard.
