Everyone’s favorite anti-company, the wild Aussie crew known as the Mad Huey’s, has a formal informal announcement to make: the signing of hellman Ryan Hipwood, or “Hippo” to those who know him. Hippo has been in the path of many of surfing’s historic swells over the last couple years, as evidenced by the accompanying clip, gathered from Hippo’s hard drive. While the “Huey’s” seem to spend more time fishing and beer drinking than surfing, judging by their web-clips, their team roster consists of men who are world-class at all three.
