Mullaghmore Head: Irish Sea Monster

Chances are you’ve already heard about Andrew Cotton’s ride at Mullaghmore Head, a lethal slab on Ireland’s northwest coast.

What’s more remarkable about Cotton’s ride than the setting in which it took place is the size of the wave itself. Mullaghmore Head is a shallow slab that breaks on a rock shelf– unlike many big wave spots which break in deep water.
