The boys over at Quik have just released this 20 minute highlight reel of the New York contest that is so well done I’d have to say it transcends the “highlight” category and lands somewhere in the documentary/short film genre. The event itself exceeded everyone’s expectations, both in terms of waves and performances, despite having to deal with hurricane damage from Irene that cancelled much of the event festivities.
