While World Tour rookie Kolohe Andino has had his feet firmly planted on sleds crafted by Matt ‘Mayhem’ Biolos for a number of years now, it was only today that the youngster from San Clemente, California, took an official stance on his fins. Andino has signed with Australian fin system FCS, joining the likes of 11-time world champ Kelly Slater and pro surfer Julian Wilson on their research and development team. A high-ankle sprain currently has Kolohe beached, but you can be sure he’s itching to get back in the agua to work on a signature fin as soon as possible.
