Signs suggest John John Florence has signed with Hurley

It’s unofficially official–the hottest slice of young surfing talent on the planet, John John Florence, has joined the mega-team at Hurley. The Nike-owned surfwear giant recently adopted an entirely new roster of surfers as Nike announced it would be pulling out of surfing altogether. Florence has apparently parted ways with longtime supporter O’Neill, and now Hurley will be controlling a majority share of the World Tour.

The following images have surfaced via Instagram, though there has been no official press release from Hurley headquarters. ASP posted the ad at right that was seen at the Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach, California, over the weekend.

Photographer Daniel Russo shot the image at left and posted with the caption, “Shooting in the rain the other day with @john_john_florence.” If you look closely you can clearly see the Hurley laminate in his board.
