While they may have been spawned from the same womb, surfers and skaters have since veered apart to form two distinct tribes, each with its own etiquette, vernacular, and recreational vices. Yet despite our differences, Australia’s Monster Children, a Sydney based publication/art gallery, was able to herd 7 of the best skaters and surfers into camper vans for an old fashioned cross-sport road trip up the East Oz coastline. Surfers Dane Reynolds, Craig Anderson, and Warren Smith joined skaters Dylan Rieder, Sammy Winter, Austyn Gillette, and Kevin Terpening for some ramp hunting– both aquatic and concrete.
