To supplement their annual Big Issue, Surfer magazine released a fantastic short film titled The Distant Shores, chronicling a series of polar opposite surf expeditions to the ends of the earth. From slab hunting in Ireland, to frozen Norwegian tubes, to apocalyptic death bombs off Sumatra, this film has some truly incredible footage.
