It’s great to see cinema-quality production applied to surf films, even short ones. Here is the story of Chris Peterson, as told by NRS films. It’s an inspiring, tragic, and gritty tale, set in an unlikely place for anything surf related, yet captured and presented beautifully. Shorts like this give us hope that someday Hollywood may be able to produce a full length feature film on surfing that doesn’t give us the kook-chills.
