Veteran filmmaker Tim Bonython teases ‘Immersion’

Aussie and veteran surf filmmaker Tim Bonython has made it a point to capture the biggest and heaviest days ever surfed, with the guys who are charging the hardest. He is responsible for some mind blowing clips over the years from famous surf spots like The Right in West Oz and Ship Stern Bluff in Tasmania. And he recently scored some of the most riveting footage ever collected from the now infamous tow day at Teahupoo during the 2011 Billabong Pro in Tahiti.

His latest cinematic offering acts as a highlight reel from his exploits over the last couple years. Below is the trailer for “Immersion,” along with an interview with Tim about the film.
