You may have been wondering where surfer Bruce Irons has been of late, as the Kauai native has been somewhat reclusive in recent months. Had it been wintertime we’d assume he was fishing for tuna and giant tubes at home in Hanalei Bay, an area where good waves, respect, local vibes, and no cameras are the law of the land.

Well, watching the video below should answer all questions about Bruce’s whereabouts for the past couple months–he’s been holed up in mainland Mexico with surfer Nathan Fletcher, scoring massive step-off pits, and launching some ludicrous airs, all riding tiny little quad hybrid tow-boards.
