Getting a late start on most of his competition, Adam Jones didn't get his first bike until he was 10 years old. It wasn't the best bike out there but Adam was on it daily and after seeing their son excel so quickly his parents went and bought him a bike and Adam began his racing.

Being in the race scene for over 7 years, Adam rarely saw a race that he didn't make podium. He was at the top of his game. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to take a year off and that was a mind opening year for Adam. He realized he was taking racing so seriously and he wasn't enjoying his time on the bike. After rehabbing, Adam got back on his bike but decided to have more fun with it. He began riding and jumping with friends for fun. Only after taking the time off from the race scene did Jones decide to take a run in the IFMA Freestyle Motocross Circuit.

His breakout moment was at an IFMA X Games qualifier event, Adam took the last qualifying position and realized the first step to his dream of an X Games Gold Medal was on its way. He did everything he could from then on to prepare for the X games.

Today Adam Jones is one of the top freestyle motocross riders int he world. He has not only accomplished his goal of an X Games Gold medal in 2007 but has been consistently in the top 3 positions at all the events he competed at. Adam was named the 2007 International Rider of the Year award as well as the prestigious 2007 Transworld Motocross Rider of the Year Award.

Adams work ethic helped him to get where he is today. His desire for perfection shows from his plethora of trophy's and medals. Never one to be easily defeated, Adam is constantly out there perfecting that new tick to leave the other riders in aw.
