A diverse rider who participates in slope, pipe, and racing, Alex has a well-rounded competitive background that should serve him well at '06 Winter X . After a contest-light end to the 2004/5 season, Alex plans to race in as many FIS events as he can for 2005/6, beginning with the Europa Cup events in Austria as well as the Whistler World Cup, where a good placing can improve his Olympic chances. This is Alex's second consecutive year on the U.S. Snowboard C Team.
