Alex is a strong German rider who cut his teeth on the ISF circuit. Now competing almost exclusively on the FIS tour, he is looking forward to competing at his first Winter X Games in 2005 because of the more freestyle oriented course and 6 person heats. He had one podium finish at the beginning of the '05 season, 3rd at a South American Cup in CHI, but suffered an injury to his left ankle in December and had to take time off to recover.
