From Liquid Force riders dominating the contest scene to dominating in the free riding realm, it seems that Liquid Force team was unstoppable this year. Lets take a stroll down memory lane and look back at all that happened this year in Wakeboarding. January 2010 Rumors that the PWT would not happen this year were circulating at this time with no scheduled released and sponsorship problems. Parks Documentary won Best Documentary at X-Dance film festival. March 2010 Pro Wakeboard Tour schedule officially announced, ending all rumors. Harley Clifford wins in Abu Dhabi, for the fist stop of the World Wakeboard Series. Aaron Rathy signs with MB boats, after loosing Nautique Boats as a sponsor in 2009. Erik Ruck is let go from Hyperlite but then picked up by Ronix. April 2010 Bob Soven wins his first professional wakeboard contest in Miami. May 2010 Body Glove's "Slick City" premieres in Orlando. Harley Clifford wins Wake Games in Orlando. Harley Clifford wins in Brazil at stop #2 of World Wakeboard Series. Harley Clifford wins Pro Tour #1 in Acworth, Ga beating Rusty Malinoski Phillip Soven wins 51st Masters. June 2010 Tom Fooshee wins first Monster Energy Triple Crown event at TSR After couple years with no boat sponsor, Keith Lyman signs with Axis Wake Boats. Phillip Soven wins at Pro Tour #2 in Ft.Worth. Harley Clifford dominates at Pro Tour #3 in Kentucky. Harley Clifford Lands 5 Different 900's in one set Wake 2 Wake. July 2010 Danny Harf wins 13,000 big ones at Bro Stock 2010. Raph Derome wins Wake The Line in Germany, cementing his ballot for rail rider of the year. Amber Wing is the first woman to ever land a 900 wake 2 wake. Harley Clifford wins Air Nautique U.S. Nationals. Bob Soven wins his first Pro Tour event, Pro Tour #4 in Colorado. August 2010 Tom Fooshee wins Monster Energy Triple Crown Stop #2 in Kansas, Winning the overall title as well here. Bob Soven beats Phillip Soven in Canada taking home WakeStock Title. Harley Clifford wins Pro Tour #5 in Tennessee, but loses overall title to Phillip Soven. Dean Smith wins WWA Wakeboard Worlds in Orlando,Fl in a surprise victory. Harley Clifford lands first Back Mobe 720 wake 2 wake and then goes to Parks Double or Nothing too win with it there. Raph Derome wins Rail Rider of The Year. September 2010 Steel Lafferty Sticks a ToeSide Back 900 to win Wakeboard move of the year. Lior Sofer wins Monster Triple Crown stop #3 in Ohio. December 2010 Nico Von LerchenFeld wins Red Bull's Wake of Fame Its been an amazing year for everyone but its clearly been a better year for the Liquid Force Team. I have said it before but I am pretty sure Liquid Force made a deal with the devil. With Liquid Force team only growing this year will we see a repeat performance next year? All I know for sure is that I cant for May for all the fun to start again. Channels: More Liquid Force so far this yearLiquid Force not only dominated this year on the pro tour but they also dominated this year by having the most fun! Seemed like all their riders were constantly in the spotlight and their team took over 2010. Channels: More Oakley's wake team wins big at Wake Awards![]() The 2010 Surf Expo in Orlando got smacked with an O-branded wave this past week.The sprawling annual convention played host to the 2010 Transworld Wake Awards, where Oakley head-to-toe riders took home some major hardware for their super high-powered seasons.From the youngest team member (who happens to arguably be one of the world's best wakeboarders - if not the best) to O Team Veterans, the Oakley brand clearly shined in every respect.Add the fact that one of the most coveted titles of the event was and is the "Oakley Move of the Year" Award. The World's best riders are constantly in pursuit of the honor. Combine all of that with the Oakley branding that was visible everywhere, and it was one heck of an Oakley night.It's clear that the Big O continues its extraordinarily strong presence and leadership in the sport. And The Winner Is: Tom Fooshee Rail Master The Rail Master is a rider who stands out most on all kinds of rails.
