Having quit his MX career in 2000 after suffering a couple of injuries, Andre turned semi-pro in freestyle skiing before returning to the bike in 2003 to dedicate his life to FMX. His decision to move from Norway to Spain with the intention of building the best FMX park in Europe became the key to his success as he went on to win a series of big events and set standards in style in the sport.

After injuring himself badly in Madrid in 2006 and crashing in Poland in 2008, Villa is looking forward to his 2nd comeback this season and is expected to burst onto this year's Series with tons of positive energy.
