"Diamondback looked no further than its own backyard to find the latest addition to its pro team and has added northwest hero and all around good guy Andrew Carpenter to its roster.

Carpenter is a park / trail rider who has been a loyal member of DB's flow team for some time, but has proven himself well worthy of a paycheck and a way to get to more contests this year. His amazing brakeless riding has been known to locals for many years, and was recently made known to the rest of the BMX world when a sequence of the 540 he landed over the box jump at the Metro Jam graced 2 pages of the February issue of Ride BMX magazine.

Diamondback Marketing Coordinator Trevor Knesal stated, "In addition to being an amazing rider, Andrew is a great kid. He's very grateful for every opportunity he's given and makes the most of them. We're stoked to have him on the team."
