Chia is faster than you, he's faster than anyone that skimboards. His tiny legs move so fast that he kicks sand up to 10 feet in the air when running for waves. His style of skimboarding is fast, smooth and powerful. He's one of a few that can properly frontside wrap a head high wave at Aliso and not come up with any body parts bleeding. His level of stoke and the enthusiasm he puts into everything in life makes me feel like I pounded 2 redbulls everytime I'm in his presence. He's someone that you need to meet.

Whether you skimboard or not, he has the energy of a child, the strength of a gorilla, and is cooler than sean Connery in any of the Bond films he starred in.

Besides putting Steve Taylor to shame on wraps at Aliso, Chia spends most of his time building composite airplanes. Stupid fast composite airplanes. With Aaron Peluso, Chia helped found Exile and build it to what it is today. Chia is a living legend and a perfect example to follow in skimboarding and life.
