In 2005 he took part in Thrasher's 'King of the Road'. His list of sponsors (former and current) is a who’s who of the skateboarding industry—Vans, Madrid, Alva, Tracker, etc ... He’s lived the dream, skating just about everywhere and with just about everyone. At forty-one, Bill is still ripping and representing. He is taking part in the All Nations Skate Jam in Albuquerque on April 29th and did a cover/interview for Concrete Wave last year. Some of the younger skaters have taken to calling him "Old Man Danforth".

      I saw him roll of a 12 foot deck at the Dayton Hara Arena contest back in 1988 it was totally insane. I'm from Ohio, so I have seen Danforth at many events. He definitely has a style all his own.

      I skated with Bill sometime in the late eighties at the D.O’s in Cincinnati. The guy ******* ruled. I saw him roll off a ten foot deck onto the ground at a demo sometime in the early nineties. Super cool guy to skate with.
