| Biebel's World![]() Ever wish you could talk like pro skater, Brandon Biebel. You know, a stoney Sac-Town reppa' who has a few of his own original sayings. Well, look no further fella' the folks over at Medicine Agency have just what the doctor ordered. The Brandon Biebel soundboard iPhone app., otherwise known as Biebel's World. Just figure out what you want to say and this app. will translate it into Biebel for you. Click here to peep it. Until recently the Biebel dialect was thought of as impossible to learn. That is, before a team of Sacramento maintenance men discovered the Arco Stone. Much like the Rosetta Stone that helped uncover how the Egyptian system of hyroglifics worked. The Arco Stone, which was found under Arco Arena, where the Sacramento Kings play, by a few men digging a hole has broken the once un-breakable code that is the language of Biebel. This is for sure worth checking out. Channels: Skate lakai In Salt Lake CityItalian video extraordinaire Feds, who's probably watching the boring-ass World Cup right now made a little video of Lakai's recent stop on the Zumiez Couch Tour, Salt Lake City, UT. Check out Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Brandon Biebel and more kill it in a city by a lake of salt. Speaking of saltiness, I'm just a little salty about this World Cup thing just because my local bar ran out of beer because of all the British people watching all this damn soccer. Anyway, here's the video: Channels: Skate Biebel And Crew Play On The Kings' CourtIn case you didn't know, pro skater, Brandon Biebel, is as big of a Sacromento Kings fan as they get. The Sac-Town native can be seen sitting courtside at home games, and being interviewed on the local Kings television channel. Now, the Kings haven't been a championship threat since the days of Webber and Stojakovic, and aren't in the playoffs, so Biebs has been down in LA lately spreading Anti-Lakers propaganda Since we are in the midst of the NBA playoffs, I thought this Matix video from a few months back would be appropriate. It's Biebel and the crew from Matix/Lakai/DVS playing a little 5 on 5 game on the Kings' home court. Channels: Skate Manual Week ContinuesIt's still the week of two wheels over here at GrindTV SKATE, and today, St. Patrick's Day, we have another video of wheelies. In case you didn't know, putting together a really good manual combination is a lot like seducing a woman. It takes a plan, concentration, being quick on your feet and an ability to adapt. That's why many of skateboarding's best manualers listen to R. Kelly to get pumped up to put down a line. If a good manual combination is a lot like a sexy date, who better to listen to than an R and B Legend? Here's a little video featuring two of the best balancing acts on two wheels; Brandon Biebel and Marc Johnson working it to Mr. R. Kelly himself. And by the way, the surname Kelly is Irish for all you St. Patrick's Day drunks (not sure if R.K. is Irish though, for obvious reasons). Channels: Skate Biebel Cuts The RugCheck out this video of Brandon Biebel showing Marc Johnson, Mike Mo and Jeron Wilson how to dance at the club. His two moves seem legit, but he has nothing on my two go-to club dances, The Lobster, and The Spin Around in a Circle While Chugging a Beer with No Hands. I give lessons if anyone is interested. That's Biebel and Fully Flared Director, Ty Evans, above getting buck backstage at Marc Johnson's S.O.T.Y. party, photo: MORINformed. Channels: Skate First | < Previous | 1 2 |
