Competing at his third WX and still a teen, Bender is a talented rider with a bright future who will race as a Semi-Pro on the WPSA National series in '05/'06. In 2004 he competed in HillCross and '05 was his first WX SNX. Son of racing legend Tim Bender, Brett signed a 3-yr deal with Polaris in summer '05 and postponed his acceptance to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
The youngest rider in the WX '05 SnoCross field, Bender is in his first year as a Semi-Pro rider on the WSA Nat'l series. Son of racing legend Tim Bender, Brett's a high school senior who flies to Nationals so he'll miss less school.
From a royal racing family, Brett's dad, Tim, is a snowmobile racing legend who enjoyed particular success on ice oval tracks. Brett earned his WX '04 HLX spot by placing second in the BEST HillCross WX qualifier in April '03.
