Known as Ike to most, Brett is on the endless summer program, living 6 months in FL, 6 months in Australia, and rarely missing a competition. Though often on the podium, he is rarely on the top and hasn't won an event since 2002. But Ike is a seasoned competitor and master strategist who is a force in any of the nearly 30 events he does a year. In 2004, he became the second person to land a double half cab mobe, a trick which only Parks Bonifay had previously pulled.

Brett leaves his Australian homeland to spend six months competing on the U.S. wakeboarding tour, before returning home each winter. This season he has come on strong, placing well in most events and he won the Planet X Games in Australia, claiming his first pro victory in January 2001.
