DC and (Irons) Brothers Production's new flick, Dude Cruise, premiered this past Friday at Hotel Solamar in San Diego, right smack in the middle of the ASR circus.

This was the ...MORINformed event of the weekend, so you know I showed up, but once again I had issues at a video premier, no one's fault but my own. If you've read my other ASR posts you're probably aware that I lost my wallet and I had no I.D. the whole week.

I cruised over to the venue on time, I was on the list plus three (so I got two friends in), I had already gotten my pre-game on thanks to Volcom, and I was going have good night right? Wrong! Just as I stepped into the place some dude with an ear piece stepped in front of me and was like, "ID," I'm all, "I lost my wallet man, but I'm on the list, people here know how old I am," he's all "I don't care this is my bar not theirs."

Well, I wasn't going to let this ear-pieced power junky ruin my night. I went around to the side door, got in and went up the elevater. Nathaniel Curran was in there and one of his friends lost his wallet too, so now I had someone else with me in Operation Cardless Cruise Through.

The elevator opened and everyone spilled out into the party not bothered by bouncers, except me. Even the other guy without an ID got in. Two dudes stepped in front of me and were all like, "Your not coming in." Just then I see Transworld SURF editor, Chris Cote, doing an interview for Fuel TV, I yell to him interrupting his interview, he comes over and I'm all, "I lost my wallet they won't let me in," he tried but they weren't giving in, so he was all, "Sorry bro this isn't my deal."

I concede and got into the Elevator with the bouncers. When the doors open at the Lobby who's standing there? None other than the star of the movie Bruce Irons with girlfriend Mia. I'm all, "Bruce they won't let me in tell them I'm over 21," he's all, "Yeah, he's way over 21, let him in," and the bouncer was all, "he's not getting into my bar."

So, long story short. I went back to my hotel, changed my cloths, put on a hat, and headed back. Oh yeah, did I mention in all that camotion I had grabbed my friend's ID. It totally worked, got in, partied all night, and had a great time. The only problem, I saw none of the movie, I walked in just in time for the credits. If you want to know how it was ask someone else.
