  • About

Chad Reed began his Motocross career with a lot of proving himself to do. His first came to the World Motocross scene in 2001 as an unknown Australian rider. However, he quickly made his presence known and joined the Yamaha of Troy 125cc team in that same year. Afterwards, he was given the opportunity to fulfill his dream of competing in the US. Once again, he had the challenge of breaking out of the label "unknown Australian rider" only on a much bigger stage and a tougher fan base. But he did just that and in 2003 joined the Factory Yamaha Team as rider number 3 in the 250cc class.

He won an amazing eight rounds of the Supercross series and became the 2003 THQ World Supercross Champion (2003).

In 2008, Chad earned the Supercross Championship Title...again. He dominated the series, winning 9 of the 17 rounds, finishing on the podium 13 times and leading an incredible 153 laps over the season, three times more than any other rider.

Reed continues his success and is always training at the factory test track in Southern California. When he finds the time, he finds himself at the local golf course practicing his skills.
