The 2004 Alliance Rider of the Year, Chad is the lone Canadian member of the Pointless Posse. Despite throwing huge maneuvers on super technical and sizable sliders, he has never been seriously injured wakeboarding. In 2004, Chad was awarded his first X Games medal, a silver. He is featured in the 2005 releases Mixtape and The Butter Effect.

Pointless Posse member Chad Sharpe is known for pushing his own limits to the point where the repercussions would be serious. But despite the giant gaps and technical tricks he throws, he has avoided serious injury. He made the final at the first 6 competitions he entered in '04.
