Maybe the best all-around snowmobiler in the world, Burandt excels in hillcross, freestyle and freeriding and is strong in snocross and hillclimb, as well. Best known from all of his appearances in action sport sledding videos, his 5th place finish in WX HLX '03 marks him as a medal threat.
One of three freestylers to make the WX VI HillCross field, Burandt is prominently featured in the video, "Slednecks 4." He continually aces the same difficult house jump that fellow WXer Garth Kaufman broke his leg on. He's never raced a hillcross event.
