My SportsSkiing My Fans | AboutIt may be hard to believe, but Chris Turpin learned to ski in 1999. The Red Deer, AB native moved to Whistler that fall, and was inspired to learn to ski by the Poor Boyz Productions film Thirteen. Chris was a natural in the air, and was entering local Whistler comps by the end of his first season on skis. In 2002, he took 2nd to Tanner Hall at the World Skiing Invitational big air. Turpin continues to work on his park and big mountain skiing, and concentrates on being different. |
