Channels: Bike ASA Big Air BMX Triples Features X Games Stars![]() GrindTV Newswire, LOS ANGELES (June 29, 2010) - On October 23, leading action sports event producer ASA Entertainment (ASA) will bring the industry's hottest BMX stars to St. College, Pennsylvania's Bryce Jordan Center for the ASA Big Air BMX Triples (Triples). Top BMX pros of X Games fame will take on the challenge of a 195-foot long wooden course consisting of a 25-foot high drop-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending quarter-pipe, all while grabbing 'big air' to perform their flips, flairs, whips and spins. This head-to-head competition pits each athlete against their equally talented rivals in two-man battles, forcing them to throw down their most spectacular aerials stunts in quick succession to best their opponent and win the event title. Athletes who have regularly competed with great success at previous Triples events have included: Brett Banasiewicz (South Bend, Ind.), the 15-year old who made history at the Augusta Triples event on June 19, where he executed the events' first ever double front-flip and won the title; X Games 15 BMX Gold medalist and 2010 DeKalb Triples event winner Scotty Cranmer (Howell, NJ); two-time, 2009 Triples event champion Ryan Guettler (Queensland, Aus.); and 2009 Chicago Triples event champion T.J. Ellis (Moreno Valley, Calif.). Joining these men have been BMX dirt jumping's elite - Cory Nastazio (Flushing, NY), James Foster (Redlands, Calif.), and Luke Parslow (Melbourne, Aus.). At the St. College Triples event, Chad Kagy (Gilroy, Calif.) and Kevin Robinson (East Providence, RI) are also expected to try their talents on the Triples ramps. All the excitement begins Saturday, October 23, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the St. College stop of the 2010 ASA Big Air BMX Triples go on sale Friday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Prices are $32.50 for adults, $19.50 for children 12 & under and all Penn State Students (with valid ID), $23.50 per person for a family four-pack (which must include at least one adult), and $60 for floor seats which include a meet & greet with the athletes and autographs. The Haro team all got together at HQ and put together new bikes with the new Dennis Enarson frame I believe. The strange part, however, is that everybody has gyros except for one rider: Mikey Babbel. The Haro team is full of park rats man... Totally... Mikey B is the only brakeless, street-oriented rider on Haro. Hah. ![]() Colin Mackay has the best bike with his original highlighter paint... ![]() Steve Woodward has a solid setup with bloody splatter paint. ![]() Marcus Tooker has a pretty clean setup here. ![]() Cory Nastazio goes hard with Tioga tires and some nasty looking pedals. ![]() Ryan Nyquist always wins the highest seatpost contest. 4 pegs 2 brakes dot com. ![]() Ronnie Napolitan has a clean setup as well with redwall Duo tires... ![]() The man of the hour, day, week, year Dennis Enarson with his signature frame... ![]() Channels: Bike Save the Brooklyn Banks! If you would like to save the Brooklyn Banks click here. FBM has been doing cool things and besides making the coolest custom frames I have seen they are putting out more of the goods in their latest flipbook. Premium just released their new frame, the Guttershark. Supposed to be lighter than a wet t-shirt and $400. Check it out. I apologize for not making an appearance at the Arnette x Etnies skatepark contest. I was too busy being absolutely broke and stuck at home. Regardless, here is a video from Vital BMX recapping a minuscule portion of what went down that day... Cory Nastazio appears to be releasing some gloves through 661, I very well might get these, so here is a video promoting them. Channels: Bike Cory Nastazio Jam Party ThingYEAH!!! Did you see that!? (But seriously, fun times with Cory Nastazio to support some of our fallen riders making their return to walking and riding. Always a good cause. Check out TJ Ellis riding. Some Nasty of course.
