Dan has a an unbelievable way to take a look at everything a skateboarder is doing and help that skater roll away as a new improved skateboarder. Dan taught me how to hard flip in less than 4 minutes. I was landing them smooth in less than 30 minutes. Before teaching me, he carefully watched what I was doing wrong, and that is all it took. No doubt that all the years Dan instructed at Vans and all the years of studying techniques and helping others raise their level of skateboarding, allows Dan to be the best instructor I have ever seen.
