  • About

An East Coast native Marion suffered a broken collar bone in the 2005 Gravity Games (March '05) right after finishing 5th in SuperPipe at WX '05. He is a technical skier who's looking at dropping into the SuperPipe switch for the first hit, which is extremely rare and difficult. He's an experienced surfer who dons wetsuit, booties, gloves, and hood to surf the cold Atlantic waters of Northern Maine.
Dan is a high school junior at Carrabassett Valley Academy, ME. He concentrates on being a smooth, consistent skier, and feels his slopestyle strength is rails. Dan qualified for WX 2004 by winning the 2004 Paul Mitchell X Qualifier with switch corked 720s and 900s. Dan took 4th in the inaugural VT Open slopestyle in 2003, and took 9th at the 2003 U.S. Open halfpipe. He is also an avid surfer, although after learning off the coast of Maine, he has not surfed any farther south than New Hampshire.
