Daniel, a highly respected Norwegian rider, is a fixture in the snowboarding community. Displaying power and progression in his riding, he took podium spots at both the 2003 European and U.S. Open. Daniel was the 1998 Olympic Halfpipe Silver Medalist, as well as grabbing 10th place at the 2002 Olympics. A rarity in the industry, he has sponsor relationships that have lasted over a decade. That alone speaks to the legend of Daniel Franck.
Daniel Franck is an enduring character in snowboarding. He was a double medalist at WX I (1997), and an Olympic silver medalist at the '98 Olympic Games. He is one of the fathers of The Arctic Challenge (TAC). TAC is a contest designed "by riders, for riders." However, Franck is stepping away from his roll in TAC in '02. He plans to focus on the big events in the U.S. in '01/'02.
